Great times require great changes, measures and adaptations! One of these changes is adapting to home workouts. In order to keep our sanity, our waistline and zen I decided to apply Darwinism to home workouts as best as I could!
I have my treadmill for cardio as well as HIIT circuit routines. In this area I was covered. However, in resistance strength training I was lacking. I looked up workout routines that concentrated on body weight movements to keep resistance training going but sometimes I like things a bit more challenging.
I decided to do a search on AMAZON to look for some workout out gear and found some which I ordered, tried and loved. The one I loved the most I will share through an affiliate link down below:
- RESISTANCE BANDS:
You would think well, resistance bands are resistance bands. Oh no my self managers! These resistance bands are a whole new level. Feel free to read the reviews but I can assure you they live up to their hype. Things that make these bands amazing:
- They are made of a non-slip wide, thick, grippy design and fabric which means they won’t slip or roll on your thighs while doing squats, abduction or adduction exercises.
- They vary in resistance but they don’t vary in size. This means you won’t have bands that are too loose or too tight to use effectively in certain movements. You can use all of them effectively.
- They are made of an elastic polymer as you would expect but also cotton fabric. This means they don’t feel rubbery to the touch or burning.
- They come with a mesh bag easy for storage and travel
- They come in pink/green/purple and in black/blue/gray colors
