Hi everyone! This global pandemic we are going through right now has brought a lot of new things into my life. One of these things is a less rushed life and more time on weekends for introspection (since I can’t go out with friends). On my introspective journey I have come to realize the following things about my life:
- I live a very busy and automatic life.
- I don’t set aside enough time to think:
- Are all the things I do adding value to my life?
- Are they aligned with my goals and the things that make me happy?
- I waste a lot of time: pleasing others and in non-value activities.

Therefore, I came up with a system and mostly a concept to help me do the things above more intentionally.
I have called my concept the Self Manager concept. I describe this concept as the total and utter awareness that we are in control and responsible of all the things we do in our lives and outcomes (except for God/Omnipotent things like a global pandemic). As a self manager I am responsible for:
- My growth
- My time
- My learning
- My self-care
- My happiness
This means that I have honed in on skills such as:
- Discipline
- Accountability
- Organization
- Time Management
- Continuous Learning
- And many more…
